Pakistan 2-0 Malaysia | Asian Games hockey final

GUANGZHOU: Pakistan are leading Malaysia 2-0 in the gold-medal hockey match at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou on Thursday.

The Greenshirts went into the lead in the 28th minute when specialist drag-flicker Sohail Abbas converted from a penalty corner. Abbas deposited the ball in the top right corner for his fifth goal of the tournament.

Striker Rehan Butt then consolidated the lead in the 38th minute from a close-range strike. Soon after scoring the second goal, Butt was hit on the arm and was taken off the field.
